When will the LED display industry standardization be implemented? Product standardization can improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. After more than 20 years of development in the led display industry, the industry is still chaotic. While the industry is reshuffled, companies can formulate industry standards, promote standardized production in the industry, and promote the healthy development of the industry.
Why is LED display standardization so difficult
First of all, the LED display industry is not yet mature. Different companies often fail to reach a consensus on the selection, design, and connection methods of LED displays. Each company has a different understanding of the standard, and it is difficult to unify it;
Secondly, from the perspective of the engineering business, the choice of LED display is often based on the awareness of the display and the actual needs, and the display passively forms different types, models and other technical parameters;
Third, although display screens have developed for a long time, companies are still exploring, and there is a lack of guidance from giants on standardization in the industry.
In addition, manufacturers lack copyright awareness, the industry is prospering, and the product homogeneity is serious, and it is impossible to unify weights and measures.
Lack of a unified "weights and measures", industry supervision is unfounded
With the birth of small-pitch technology, China's LED display technology has surpassed the world level and has become a leading LED display manufacturer. Although the technology has already surpassed, the industry standardization is far behind the traditional LED display production countries and regions such as Europe, America, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Therefore, the technology and product quality of the domestic LED display industry are uneven, giving some companies an opportunity to take advantage Under the fierce price war, inferior products are still being sold at low prices, undermining industry operating rules, and pushing small and medium-sized enterprises to the edge of the precipice of business operations.
First of all, there is no uniform standard, and there is no basis for the quality of products in the industry. In the work of product spot check, from sampling to analysis and processing, product standards are required as the basis for the work to be carried out. Without product standards, quality supervision will be unfounded, and product quality cannot be supervised, causing the industry to ramp up inferior products.
Second, there is no industry standard, and there is no "law" for companies to defend their rights. Although product standards cannot be used as a basis for trials, they can be used as industry technical specifications to determine whether products are inferior. Enterprises can protect their rights and interests in accordance with the specifications. In the absence of product standards, the company’s damaged rights and interests do not even have a basis for reference.
Third, the lack of product standards and the asymmetry of information damage the interests of end users. There are many types of LED subdivision display screens, and merchants may not understand them. Therefore, it is not clear that the "pass" in the experience report does not mean that the product is really qualified. It is an extra favor for low-cost and inferior "pass" products. However, because there is no industry standard, inferior products have problems, and end users cannot be held accountable, resulting in damage to their own interests.
Fourth, the lack of product standards has caused the industry to enter a price melee stage. The price war in the industry has entered a white-hot stage. Because there is no unified standard, some companies have broken through the bottom line step by step in order to seek huge profits, selling inferior products at ultra-low prices, further muddling the price war, expanding the drawbacks of the price war, and causing product prices to repeatedly Reduce and harm the healthy development of the industry.
There are rules to make a circle, and standards can be long-term
After years of development, LED conventional screens have matured industry technology and stable market demand. As the mainstream market products for LED displays, standardized design, standardized mass production, and standardized sales will be the inevitable result.
