1. Test controller:




If the controller is red, it is charging. When the controller blinks, it means that the battery is fully charged and the controller is being charged with a small pulse current. The yellow indicator on the controller indicates that the battery is dead and cannot be turned on normally. At this point, if you disconnect the battery cable and reconnect it, the LED street light will come on. At this point, the controller detects an increase in battery capacity after a day of charging, rather than the floating voltage of the battery.


2. Battery detection:




Under normal circumstances, the charge and discharge of the battery is normal. For example, if the voltage during the detection is above 12V and the voltage drops for a short time after the load is connected, the battery is damaged. In addition, the battery positive and negative short circuit caused by the water inlet of the waterproof shell will cause voltage instability, usually the high voltage is high and low, the excessive discharge voltage of the battery caused by the water inlet is below 10V. In this case, the battery can be used normally after a normal low-current cycle charge and discharge. If it cannot be used normally, replace it. After three years, it is normal for lead-acid batteries to turn off solar LED street lights or reduce rain due to their reduced capacity.




3. Solar panel detection:




If the connection of the solar panel is not very strong, the solar LED street lamp will not be able to charge properly, usually showing voltage without current. This phenomenon is that the lead of the battery panel is not properly connected. After opening the black electrical cover behind the battery panel, the data can be directly detected by the voltage and ammeter. If no current is detected directly from the aluminum groove of the panel, the panel is faulty and needs to be replaced.




4.LED light source detection:




When the battery voltage is normal, the light source can work normally. For example, if the solar LED street lamp is not bright, the positive and negative poles of the light source can be directly connected to the positive and negative poles of the battery for detection. If the light source is on, the light source is good and the controller does not supply power to the light. So you wait until the battery is fully charged again; Only when the voltage increases can it work properly. If the light is directly connected to the battery and does not turn on, it indicates that the light source is faulty. Contact the manufacturer for replacement.
