In order to understand the working principle of the small-pitch LED display, we must first understand the development trend of the small-pitch LED display signal. The small-pitch LED display mainly has five signals. To complete the display, they must cooperate with each other to complete the data transmission. This article introduces the functions of the five signals of the small-pitch LED display.

The real-time small-pitch LED display consists of a data acquisition system, a control system and a display system. The trend is: Peripherals-computer DVI graphics card-data sending card-data receiving card HUB adapter board-display.

In fact, as the last step of data transmission, all signals can be found through the central adapter. A board that sends signals to multiple branches by the control board, also known as the HUB interface board. It is usually determined by the number of vertical modules of the small-pitch LED display itself.

Including various signals in the small-pitch LED display. The HUB board starts the signal and connects with the unit board or module through the line to complete the data transmission. In addition to serial transmission of data signals, other signals are transmitted in parallel. The following analyzes the role of different signals of the small-pitch LED display, as follows:

1. CLK clock signal of small-pitch led display screen:

The mobile memory is provided with moving pulses, and each pulse will cause the data to be shifted in or out of a bit. When the small-pitch LED display normally transmits data, the data on the data port must be coordinated with the clock signal, and the frequency of the data signal must be 1/2 times the clock signal. In any case, when the clock signal is abnormal, the display panel will appear chaotic.

2. Small-pitch LED display set-top box lock signal:

After the data transmission is completed, the set-top box latch signal becomes effective, the data in the shift register is latched, and the data content is displayed on the small-pitch LED display screen through the drive circuit. But because the drive circuit is controlled by the enable signal of the electromagnetic wave, its lighting condition must be enable. The lock signal also needs to be coordinated with the clock signal to display a complete image. In any case, when the blocking signal is abnormal, the entire display panel will appear chaotic.

3. Small-pitch LED display electronic network power supply signal:

The screen brightness control signal of the small-pitch LED display can also be used to blank the screen. By adjusting the duty cycle, the change in brightness can be controlled. If the enable is abnormal, the entire screen will not light up, will not be black, and will not drag.

4. Color data signal of small-pitch led display:

Provide the necessary data for the small-pitch LED display to display images. In order to transmit data to any display, it must be coordinated with the clock signal. The three data signals of red, green and blue are often displayed separately. If the data signal is short-circuited to the positive and negative poles, the corresponding color will be all bright or not bright. When the data signal is paused, the display of the corresponding color cannot be determined.

5. ABCD line signal of small-pitch led display:

It only exists in the dynamic scanning display of the small-pitch LED display. In fact, ABCD is a binary number, and A is the lowest bit. If the maximum control range of the ABCD signal in the binary representation is 16 lines (0000-1111), then only one AB signal is needed for the quarter scan, because the AB signal is on 4 lines (00-11). If the line control signal is abnormal, there will be display errors, highlighting or image overlap.
