The working principle of LED display

2022-06-02

In the past few years, the LED display market has developed rapidly and has been widely used in banking, post and telecommunications, taxation, airports, stations, securities markets and other trading markets, hospitals, electricity, customs, stadiums and other places. So, do you know how LED displays work?

The LED display is a flat panel display, which is composed of a light-emitting diode dot matrix module or pixel unit. It has the advantages of high luminous efficiency, long life, flexible configuration, rich colors, and strong adaptability to indoor and outdoor environments. Since the middle and late 1980s, with the continuous improvement of the production process, the production process has been continuously improved. With China's reform and opening up, especially the rapid development of the national economy in the 1990s, the public's demand for information disclosure is increasing. The emergence of LED display screens has just adapted to this market situation, making the design, manufacturing technology and application level of LED display screens rapidly improved.

LED display has gone through the development course of today's full-color display from monochromatic, two-color character display to image display. Significant progress has been made in the performance of each stage (improving the LED display and blue light-emitting tubes, etc.) and the system composition (full computerized dynamic display system). The ultra-high-brightness full-color video display level that has been reached so far can be said to meet the requirements of various application conditions. It is widely used in transportation, securities, telecommunications, advertising, publicity and other aspects.

The system is composed of computer special equipment, monitor, video input interface and system software.

(1) Computer and special equipment: Computer and special equipment directly determine the function of the system, and different types can be selected according to the different requirements of users on the system.

(2) Display screen: The control circuit of the display receives the display signal of the computer, drives the light-emitting diode to emit light to produce an image, and outputs sound by adding a power amplifier and a speaker.

(3) Video input port: Provide video input port. It can be a video recorder, video recorder, video camera, etc. Assist in various forms such as NTSC, PAL, SVideo, etc.

System software: Provide dedicated led playback software, PowerPoint or ES98 video playback software.
