Standard grounding method for full-color LED display

2021-09-01

1. There are three wiring terminals at the input end of the power supply, namely the live terminal, the neutral terminal and the ground terminal. The grounding method is correct. All the ground wire power terminals should be connected in series, and the dedicated yellow and green two-color wire should be used to lock the ground, and then lead to the ground terminal.

2. If there is no ground terminal on site, it can be connected to iron water pipes, iron sewage pipes and other pipelines that are in good contact with the ground. In order to ensure good contact, the terminal should be welded to this natural grounding body, and the ground wire should be locked and not connected. It is forbidden to use gas and other flammable and explosive pipelines. Or bury the grounding body on site.

3. The grounding body can be made of angle steel or steel pipe, and it is simply buried in the ground horizontally or vertically. The grounding body should be selected in a remote area to prevent pedestrians or vehicles from damaging the grounding body.

When we are grounded, the grounding resistance must be less than 4 ohms to ensure timely discharge of leakage current. It is worth noting that due to the diffusion of ground current, it takes a certain time for the ground terminal to discharge the lightning current, which will cause the ground potential to rise in a short time. If the full-color LED display is connected to the lightning protection ground terminal and the ground potential is higher than that of the full-color LED display, the lightning current will be transmitted along the ground wire to the display, causing equipment damage. Therefore, the protective ground of the full-color LED display cannot be connected to the lightning protection ground terminal, and the distance between the protective ground ground terminal and the lightning protection ground terminal must be 20 meters. Prevent the ground potential from hitting back.
