More and more LED display screens are used in the market, and the area is getting bigger and bigger. The power consumption of LED displays has attracted more and more attention from users. How can LED displays save energy?

LED display is a new type of display technology, which is known for its high brightness and high energy saving. Uses a small internal display, so it is more energy efficient than other displays, but only relative. If the display area is large and the colors are bright, the power consumption per square is between 300-600W, and different display technologies are used, and the display power consumption varies greatly. Commonly used display methods are CRT, LCD, LED, etc. Among them, CRT has the largest power consumption, followed by LCD and LED. Ordinary LED displays (such as LCD displays with LEDs for backlighting) generally consume about 25W of power.

If the LED display consumes about 150-200W per square meter within one hour, it is also related to your display method. The maximum power consumption of an outdoor full-color LED display is about 800W/square. That is to say, when the outdoor LED display reaches the maximum power (peak value) at every moment, the power consumption per square hour is 0.8kWh.

Calculate the power consumption of the LED display: Generally, the maximum power consumption is calculated according to the number of points. Choosing a qualified and reliable power supply as an important part of the power supply system can significantly improve the energy-saving effect and service life of the LED display.

If the LED display area is large, energy-saving design can be carried out. There are two effective LED display methods:

1. When installing the screen, a multi-functional photosensitive probe should be installed so that the LED display can automatically adjust the brightness of the screen according to the outdoor light intensity to achieve energy-saving effects.

2. Screen design with energy-saving IC and low-voltage power supply. According to the P=UI formula, because the LED display is driven by a constant current, that is, a constant current, the voltage decreases and the power decreases.
