How to match the led line light power supply?

2021-07-02

How to match the power supply for led line lights? As LED linear lights are becoming more and more popular in the lighting of urban night scenes, they also have a very critical effect. As everyone knows, everyone must master how it is installed in the project and how to distribute the power supply. How many lamps can use one power supply. How many watts should the power supply be? With this understanding, everyone can use it normally and make the service life of the line lamp longer. The quality is also more stable.

LED linear light

The working voltage of led linear lamp is divided into three types: AC380V, DC24V and DC12V. Nowadays, DC24V is common in outdoor engineering projects. Let's talk about how long a DC24V line lamp is equipped with a power supply. Before the power supply, we need to understand the output power of one meter of the lamp. The basic linear lamp output power is divided into three types: 10W, 12W, and 15W. The power supply is divided into two models: 350W and 400W. There are many well-known brands of power supplies, and it is generally recommended to use 80% of the well-known brands of power supplies. The optimization algorithm is that 400W multiplied by 0.8 is equivalent to 320W, because there is a distance between the lamps and the power supply, and we have to take these losses into account.

For example, 12W line lights. 400W power supply is similar with 24 meters lamps. Basically well-known brands in the sales market suggest that the optimization algorithm should be lower, and the power supply only uses 70% or less. As some power supplies do not have enough specific W numbers. In order to better the lamps and lanterns more stable and long-term use, it is recommended to bring some less. 400W power supply with 10W lamps is proposed to be 28 meters long, and 15W lamps with no more than 20 meters. The 350W power supply optimization algorithm is the same as the 400W power supply. The output power is first calculated after the power consumption of its own power supply. After dividing by the output power of the lamp itself, the remainder is the total number of lights.

Everyone knows how long a line lamp uses a power supply, and we must also understand that a 24 meter lamp with a power supply belt is not all connected in series. Because it is a bottom pressure lamp, the series loss is very large, and the basic lamp is not connected to the back line. It is proposed that the lamps are only connected in a series of 6 meters. For example, a power supply with 24 meters lamps, the lamps are divided into 4 groups connected in series to the main task of the power supply. Each group is connected with 6-meter lamps.
