Full color LED display black screen solution

2021-08-26

When the full-color LED display is working, sometimes a black screen appears. Many reasons can lead to similar phenomena. The failure phenomenon will vary with the operation and environment. For example, it may turn black the moment the power is turned on, it may turn black when it is installed, or it may turn black after the signal is sent.

As a solution, first check whether the power supply of the full-color LED display is normal, whether there is 220V AC input, and use a multimeter to check whether the voltage at the input and output terminals of the switching power supply is normal. If it is normal, please check whether the power supply is disconnected. If there is no abnormality, please ensure that all hardware including the control system are correctly connected to the power supply (5V, reverse connection, not wrong connection).

Under normal circumstances, check whether the communication line is connected, check whether the green flashing of the issuing card does not flash, and check whether the green flashing of the issuing card does not flash when inserted. In general, the receiving card does not flash green and does not flash. Check whether the crosstalk line used to connect to the controller is loose or disconnected During the loading period, the communication line becomes loose or disconnected, the screen becomes black, and the communication line becomes loose or falls off, and there is a greater possibility of reconnection. Generally, check whether the HUB distribution board connected to the full-color LED display and the main control card is close, whether it is inserted in the reverse direction, whether the communication line is connected, and whether the connection is wrong (synchronization board).

If the above checks are normal, check whether the computer monitor is protected; if the full-color LED display area is black or pure blue (synchronized screen), check whether the computer monitor is sleeping. After entering the hibernation state, first enter the control panel, click Power Management, and select the "Never" option in the monitor options. This option will wait for the system and shut down. In this way, the computer will not enter the sleep state, and the full-color LED display works normally. If it does not enter the dormant state, please open the box, confirm that the control card and the communication cable are firmly connected, and confirm whether the communication cable is disconnected.
