Drive damage

 LED lamp beads are required to work at DC low voltage (below 20V), but our usual mains power is AC high voltage (AC 220V). The electricity needed to turn the mains power into a lamp bead requires a device called "LED constant current drive power supply".

 Theoretically speaking, as long as the parameters of the driver match the lamp bead board, it can be continuously powered and normally used. The interior of the driver is more complex, and the failure of any device (such as capacitors, rectifiers, etc.) may cause the output voltage to change, and then cause the lamp to darken.

 Driver damage is one of the most common failures in LED lamps, which can usually be solved after replacing the driver.

 

LED burnout

 LED itself is composed of a combination of light beads, if one or a part of it is not bright, it is bound to make the whole lamp dark. Lamp beads are generally connected in series and then in parallel - so a lamp bead burned, it may lead to a batch of lamp beads are not bright.

 There are obvious black spots on the surface of the burnt lamp bead, find it, use a wire to connect to its back, and short-circuit it; Or replace a new lamp bead, can solve the problem.

 LED occasionally burned one, may be a coincidence. If you burn frequently, you must consider the drive problem - another manifestation of the drive failure is to burn the lamp bead.

 

LED fading

 The so-called light decay is that the brightness of the luminous body is getting lower and lower - this situation is more obvious in incandescent and fluorescent lamps.

 LED lights can not avoid light decay, but its light decay speed is relatively slow, generally difficult to see the change with the naked eye. However, it does not exclude inferior LED, or inferior light bead board, or due to objective factors such as poor heat dissipation, resulting in faster LED light decay.
