On November 4, Tuya Smart announced that it has reached a strategic cooperation with Brazilian lighting company Gaya. The two parties will jointly expand the Brazilian smart lighting and other smart product markets.

It is reported that Gaya has the most complete product portfolio in the Brazilian lighting market. Due to its preferential prices and excellent after-sales service, Gaya has a good market share in the Brazilian civil and commercial lighting market.

Starting in 2020, Gaya and Tuya Smart have been cooperating in the field of smart lighting, through the Tuya IoT development platform to achieve low-code or no-code development of smart products.

With the help of Tuya's rich development resources, Gaya quickly created its own branded APP and upgraded its product line. Up to now, Gaya has launched more than ten smart products, including smart bulbs, smart LED strips, smart sockets, smart filament lamps, etc.

In addition to smart lighting products, Gaya also launched smart switches and smart universal infrared controllers in October this year, and plans to expand more smart products in other areas, such as fitness, in 2022.

In addition, all of Gaya's smart categories have joined the "Powered by Tuya" (PBT) open ecosystem and are affixed with the PBT logo. Under this ecology, Gaya has realized interconnection and integrated operation with over 410,000 Powered by Tuya smart devices. Users can easily control all PBT products empowered by Tuya through the Gaya APP, making the smart experience more convenient and efficient.

Tuya Intelligence stated that Tuya will continue to provide technical support for Gaya and help Gaya expand its product line to further meet consumer needs.
