Are you ready for the EUʼs ban of fluorescent tubes!!!

The Rohs directive of the European Union restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.A ban on T5 and T8 fluorescent lamps happens from August 24, 2023. 

It means that we can not get any mercury tubes from the market anymore very soon, the preparation need to be made for this change now! 

From ERVAN， we have 3 suggestions 

No 1. Retrofit fluorescent tubes with LED tubes directly, simple, easy and fast.

No 2. Furbish the old tube fixture with sustainable slim bar. 

A lot of hidden risks comes with old fluorescent tube fixtures,such as aging of wires，connectors and old ballast, it becomes fragile and higher failure rate.
